While I was in B-town for the Rock Trail dedication (below),
my buddy, Bud, showed off an early key segment of the new Nooksack Loop Trail
at Hovander Park in Ferndale. The project has great promise and is gaining
momentum after years of longing and planning for a splendiferous regional trail
system linking one great town to the next out in the hinterlands of Whatcom
County. There’s more to come fer sure. We can especially credit Whatcom Parks
Foundation and Daniel Tepper (and Bud) for the forward progress on this one.
