A week-long, work-related class took me to Casper, Wyoming,
in early June.Late one afternoon, two
colleagues and I drove less than an hour east to this rare natural bridge that
spans LaPrele Creek.As did the
pioneers, one could sit and stare at the geology and soothing stream for
hours.A short boot trail leads to the
top of the arch.A redrock wall nearby
has a short, scenic path at its base, hidden behind boulders.A few campsites are available for longer
lingers.
