In July 2012, we moved into some new digs in Glover Park, only two blocks down the hill from our first apartment. Lower rent and a nicer space made it an easy choice, though we later regretted not asking about the laundry situation, which turned out to be less than ideal. But other than that and the darkly painted walls (which we repainted), some squeaky floors, a sensitive downstairs neighbor, a gaggle of college student neighbors who love to party late on the weekend, and a few too many bugs in the kitchen, it’s working out swimmingly. The pros still outweigh the cons, anyway.
