It isn’t every day you get to see Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog and Marie Osmond parading through downtown Washington, and only yards away from our viewing spot on the curb—close enough to pass a love note.  I’m certain Marie saw me in the crowd and shyly looked the other way, pretending to wave to Mr. Obama over in the White House, just to get under my skin.  Kermit was oblivious to the whole situation.  The occasion, of course, was the annual Cherry Blossom parade, though the wily blossoms had come and gone a bit early this year.
